Geek

I'm really excited for tomorrow, March 3, 2012. One of my favorite little shows starts up again: Young Justice. It's on CartoonNetwork that I watced like last year but it suddenly stopped. I thought they had cancelled it cause it never recorded after seven episodes. Turns out, it splits the season up and keeps the dates pretty close to the air times. So I looked up episodes online and caught up and looked on Wikipedia to see what I missed. I missed a good chunk.

My favorite super hero is Wonder Woman, but from what I remember she's only been shown for twenty seconds throughout twenty episodes... =(

I do like Artemis Crock also known as "Artemis." For some reason she doesn't have a super hero name. I'm really interested in her background and family. I have a lot of cool ideas but won't say them cause if anyone who reads this knows the series, well I don't want to spoil it. XD

Boombox Brain

I'm pretty sure everyone gets a song stuck in their head from no where. Its like your mind turns on the music and lets only a small part of the song actually play. Then some reason you can't remember really what the rest of the lyrics are even though you know the song.

Let my world into the sunlight

Every second is a highlight

Daddy dancing in the moonlight

Listening to Domino by Jesse J and typed some of the lyrics and they all rhymed.

At least letting other music play in your head helps... sort of... It'd be nice to know where the off switch is.

I gotta let it gooooooo

We found love in a hopeless place

We found love in a hopeless place

We found love in a hopeless place

We found love in a hopeless place

We found love in a hopeless place

Rihanna repeats that phrase a lot lot lot lot. I think we get it. You hate being single.

That reminds me during our business class last week. After we finished the search thing, most of looked up knock knock jokes. It was AWESOME! And really funny. Here are some of them:

Knock Knock

Whos' there?

A little old lady

A little old lady who?

I didn't know you could yodell.

~*~*~*~

Knock Knock

Who's there?

Interupting cow.

Interrupt-?

Bark.

Thanksgiving

'Twas the day after Thanksgiving, when all thro' the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The turkey leftovers all put away in the fridge,
The family all nestled all snug  in their beds,
While visions of Christmas commericals frighten them away

*~*~*~*~*

Thanksgiving was GREAT! It's the second holiday day of the autumn/winter season's fattening; after Halloween and before Christmas. I had dinner with my family; mom, dad, and the cat. We ate early so my parents went to bed like right after six and I stayed up the dang night...

As for Thanksgiving break I've been resting, ignoring homework, playing Sims 3, and watching anime. In Sims 3 I've gotten a lot of progess with different families. The main ones i'm playing right now are an evil-ish family with a son love-struck with the childhood friend, a good family with an artist prodigy of a daughter (girlfriend of the first family mentioned), a ghostbusters family with a crazy inventing son, and a family of a "desperate house wives" drama wife who doesn't like her artistic rebellious daughter. All the children are third generation and two are second generation of adult with baby to teen if that makes sense (I played the GenerationB with GernationA as adults, now i'm playing with GenerationC with GernationB as adults- did that make sense?).

I love family stories, character development, and designing houses. Playing/living Sims... well I tend to just use cheats so I don't have to take care of them except building skills and making sure they don't age so I can take my time which doesn't always add up in the end but Sims 3 kind of fixes that with the story progression.

As for wathing anime, I'm continuing Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, almost finished with the first season and an episode before a really sad part where a character dies ='( I love code Geass, though it's really sad. Spolier alert but a vague one: if you've seen it, look up YouTube for the Janpese version because a character that dies at the end actually ends up alive but the English dub people wanted people to come up with their own versions of how it ended; you have to see it to understand it. I heard tehy are making a third season called something with R2 which is one of the main character's second name or so I've heard. However the character who "dies" at the end and who is a rather important character  does not return so I guess it doesnt matter but I still want him to come back!!!!!! [This won't make any sense unless you've seen it or read it. Which you should. A very good anime/manga]

That's enough for this post. I want to play more Sims 3 despite Saving Error Codes 12 and 13 -_- Stupid errors that doesn't save and force quit my game....

Popular

A grand total of 106 viewers as of 11-12-11, 9:41pm of Pacific time. My last blog did way better but this one is much more spacious of where everyone comes from. I love International =)

I've had people from U.S., Malaysia, Germany, Canada, India, Iran, Jordan, Philippines, Russia, and Argentina. It's rather an interesting group of an audience. Also its in order of how many people from each country have viewed this blog.

Above are the Hetallia characters with each their respectful flag of country. My friends are really into that show and one of them has dibs on Japan cause he's "smexy". Anyway I love different countries and their cultures and languages even if I don't understand them. The only languages I know is English and some Japanese, Spanish, and French; mostly the Spanish; French from ballet; Japanese from manga, anime, Rosetta Stone and friends.

Oh, I also named this post after the song Popular in the musical Wicked. "Popular. You're going to be Pop-U-Lar..." And so on. I saw the musical in New York on an 8th grade field trip. I've also seen Cats, the Lion King, West Side Story, and Mary Poppins.  My favorites in order are Cats, and tied in second are Lion King and Wicked. I'm can't think right now which one is my second and third favorite right now. Maybe cause its late.

Daylight Savings time is a drag. (Shikamaru!!!!!! X3) I'm like its so late, ten o'clock maybe? Then realize its only five thirty. My favorite Naruto character is the Nine Tails, even if he's evil. :3

Happy Halloweens!

I don't know about who ever reads this but my pumkin got stolen two days before Halloween. :'(

Not only did the floods take our pumpkins but a weirdo... I know pumpkins are sacre people but really?! So on the spooky day, my mom took a plastic pumpkin candy basket thing and put a candle inside of it. Teachers have the best out of the box ideas. :)

My street consists of college kids and old people. So its only natural that we get five bags of candy that end up in our stomachs. We hardly get any trick-o-treaters so its only natural we get a ton right?  I love that reasoning. Though I'm going to start doing a lot more than pilates once a week as my exercise cause of my stupid foot. I have yet to get an MRI....

My cat is freaking out today...

Also RIP to James and Lily Potter

OMG Back Again

So I decided to post here again... And I've noticed a lot of people view my hamster page.... So I've decided to do another cute animals. I suppose...

GOOGLE!

Okat this hamster looks like Snuffles, my second hamster. He bit a LOT of people inclduing my mom, my BFF, and my friend's mom... and others... But he didn't bite me not once but he did lick me a lot... It felt funny. Anyway one day he passed away then when my mom tried burryng him, a possum stole him. >_<
This is an albino corn snake. I have one but mine's more pink. Her name's Rosie, which oddly is a nickname of a friend of mine. So it's interesting arguement we always have. She's really cute but she can be a little vicious when shes hungry. We recently fed her like four little mice so shes pretty content but I think she's a little mad we hadn't fed her in two months. SORRY ROSIE!!!! (The snake and not my friend)
This is a snake and hamster (at a zoo). I remember reading about them then it went like viral before such a thing existed? IDK. It's been a while. But the snake is at a zoo in the world and the hamster was supposed to be its lunch but the snake didn't eat it and now the two are buddies. And the snake doesn't think of him as a snack. Now that I think about it... I think the hamster died of natural causes as in old age and not food chain...

Harry Potter

I love this series. I'm going to cry at the end as its the end of an era but the beginning of a legend.

I can't wait to see it! I really don't know what to say but OMG.

The soundtrack gives me goosebumps.

Facebook is with piling with Harry Potter stuff.

My mom stops fast forwarding anything recorded to watch anything Harry Potter.

Yahoo Top Search box is always filled with something of J.K. Rowling's 7-Book series.

According to one of my friends found out that 25 million tickets have already been sold to see Part Two and it hasn't even come out yet.

The world has gone mad with Potter. :)

New Blog

I decided to make a blog for my cat cause cats are usually more interesting than people and probably will take over YouTube in the future if they haven't already. ;)

The Bright Cat Days

The blog name is almost alphabetical but I didn't want to make Days singular cause it's suppose to be about multiple days...

Poetry

Cleaning my room brings memories
And weird things like finding lost keys.
Figuring out where each one goes
Is quite easy as one key shows
that it will only open one lock.

Listening to music passes time.
Dancing around is never a crime
Just a way to have fun.
Now only for a pun
will I stop this bad rhyme.

*~*~*~*

That is bad poetry ._.

Anyway just spending my Tuesday cleaning my room but right now I shall take a break to play Sims 2

That sounds familiar....

ichi ni san yon

Love this song!!!

I feel that I've repeated all of this before.... summer madness!!!!!!

Ballet Rehearsal

Today I had class 11-1:30, then Jr Company rehearsal 1:30-1:50, a break, School performance rehearsal 2-3, then waited there for like thirty minutes until my mom asked one of her friends to take me home while she dealt with the little kids as she volunteers.

FINALLY HOME!!!!!

I love Saturdays even during Summer Vacation

Now just listening to some tunes and going to play Sims 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes I feel blogging is just a longer body of space for words to describe Facebook stuff....

Like how your day went. You don't answer to your parents but you blog about it to random people or put it as your status -short version of course- to your friends. Unless you're friends with your parents....

I'm friends with my aunt and distant relatives as neither of my parents are on Fb which I'm kind of glad very happy about ;)

Writing and Music

So I've been writing my story Aniards which is a world where people have Animal DNA in them. I've been developing it more and differing it from when I roleplayed a possible storyline. I've also changed the world, such as continents and other kingdoms. The rankings are the same but with added families and characters. Though the main two girls are the same, Netallia and Jierra, along with their distant relatives William and Lily and their family.

SO glad for auto save drafts!!!!!!

Anyway back to the story as I interruptly went back a page and nearly lost everything I had written....

Netallia is the main character, this time younger and colder. Not sure if I'll give her an old friend like in the role-play version but I'll try it out. Of course it'll be different from that version as that was influenced by others and I plan to make this story completely my own.

I do find writing possible scenes helps me wrap my mind around what could happen and how the characters would act in another situation.

Anyway that was the writing portion of this vlog.

While writing I find listening to music is nice as it acts like background music to a scene in a movie, helps set the mood unless you're writing a tense scene while listening to some random club music :P

That's why I use my 'Apple Love' and 'Black Tears' and 'Recently Added' playlist, cause that tends to be more like the storyline tone however in the Recently Added, it's more random so it's a bit hard to write but I usually just end up tuning it out then when I start listening to it again it's music that matches the scene. :)

Happy Summer!

SNSD

SNSD Japanese Version

I love this song even if I don't understand it. It sounds cute. I'll probably try and find the meaning behind the lyrics later. But it sounds like a little love story.

In other "news" I know how to count to ten in three languages:
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez
ichi, ni, san, shi/yon, go, roku, nana, hachi, kyu*/kyuu, ju*

I'm very proud of myself =D

Last

So I've been gone with school and ballet over-drive = very busy

I've been drawing again after much failure in doing so. I'm focusing more on shading and more portraits of faces. Not the best but it helps prepare for next year's IB Art class...

We tested blood type Friday, I am A negative (A-)

Its apparently on the rare side, AB- being the rarest and A+ the most common

According to the Red Cross, apparently 8% White, 4% African American, 4% Hispanic, and 1% Asians have A-.

I hate when people use the term "white"

I'm not white, I'm fair skinned or a light tan or sometimes red. Also I'm American mutt of European countries so the more correct term for me should be Irish-Swedish-English but for some people it falls under "White"

There are tanned whites out there. But according to everyone else, we're a piece of paper. Personally I'm more like a peach :)

However with summer around = tanning season!!!!

So Long

It's been a very lone time since I've posted. So long indeed.

Problem is I have nothing to really post.... :/

Been busy with school and had some misceptions with a Fb post of some teasing which was taken seriously by a family member when it was just some teasing between me and two other girls- its not bullying because we both dont mean any of it. And I know bullying, its been my best friend since first grade. Truthfully I'm glad to be rid of it.... *knocks on wood knocks*

Happy April! I'm not sixteen YEAH! Still not driving though :(
But maybe thats a good thing....

PS I wish good fortune to Catherine (Kate) and Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of (I can't remember the place sorry...) Now that the weddings over, they're already talking about producing an heir Xo

Hamsters

I got bored and decied to search up"hamster" images on Google. Here are a few:

They're so cute. I had two, Simba and Snuffles. Simba was found on a neighbor's yard and given to us by a neighbor asking around who wants a hamster. He had a little mane and very cute. I don't remember him too much cause it was a long time ago. Snuffles was given to us by one of my mom's students. He was smaller in size and had a more natural coat of gray/white/black, similar to the one in the bottom right in the last picture of them "kissing." He walked and wiggled which was funny. He also bit everyone including my mom, my friend, and her mom. He never bit me though, I also played with him more and talked to him. However there is an increase of him biting me cause I had food and interacted with him more contrary that he was more familar with me, but he has licked me and a few others once or twice probably only my mom as the "others". It always freaked me out cause it was ticklely.
I miss having a hamster or any rodent... I only have a cat, snake, fish, two frogs, and guiena pig. We do call the possum that occasionally comes around in our backyard "Pete" and my dad feeds him like the ducks at the golf course...
Unlike my dad I make the cat do tricks for pieces of chicken. Fat cat... But cute :)

Friend's War Story and Writing Process

My friend wrote a story and posted a part on her blog. So I decided to read it over and edit. Yes I know it was a draft and it had many mistakes in my opinion, -such as repetitiveness- but thats what revisions are for.

My English teacher stressed much on the whole writing process. The main parts are: Braintstorming, Drafting, Revising, and Final.

Brainstorming to get your ideas out on paper and to scramble them into something that makes sense. This part should be done so well the next part flows evenly without much struggle.

Drafting to "properly" write out your thoughts into grammer structured and strained sentences. The trick is not go ahead to the next step during this process. I forget the exact reason why, but its something along the lines of not breaking the thought flow from your mind/brain to your hand through your pencil to the paper. Also you can edit later, just get everything out.

Revising is the most painful part. They are many things you should to think of: diction [replace repetitive/weak/plain/boring/redundant words with better/stronger/flavorful words]; sentence structure [not always using the same order of clauses/parts of a sentence] and length [long/meduim/short]. These are jsut a few things to think of and also largely affected on style of writing. If you are writing for a "first grader" audience, don't go and use puerile or pusillanimous, use stupid/dumb kind of words. SIMPLICITY! Think of your audience basically. Also infect the paper with your own style or a certain stlye such as old talk [something formal/Shakesphere/poetic] or southern [y'all/howdy/+'um].

Final. The last draft you have that you believe is presentable.

Yes I rambled a bit in the middle.... Now here's my version and go to the link for her original version. (I have permission to do something like this as we do know each other and I have asked to help edit :3)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

“Joëlle!”
A voice shouted her name. She rolled her eyes.
“Joëlle!”
This time, much louder and sterner. Joëlle stood up from her chair and grabbed her rabbit. She walked out of the library and down the hall, running into her mother quickly.
“Where were you?”
{The queen asked.}
“No where important”
The young girl replied. Her mother kept her gaze; her daughter just stood there.
“Very well, it matters not” said the queen. “But what does matter is that Prince Abelard will arrive soon. It will be your duty to accompany him”
“Will his Uncle be coming as well?”
“Yes. Why?”
“It is just that I enjoyed his company the last time he visited”
Her mother smiled slightly.
“Well then, I expect to see you at supper tonight.”
At that her mother turned and walked away. Joëlle sighed and continued through the halls of her palace without any thought. She knew every corner and room, having grown up exploring all the nooks and crannies. Her favorite room was an old forgotten library of books rejected from the newer library built years ago. The library had a sense of emptiness with no visitors other than herself and dust collecting over the years. The small room allowed her to break down her thoughts and expose herself emotionally when she wanted to escape from her life for a little while. She glanced up at the ancient grandfather clock in the corner. Quarter to six, nearly time for supper. She sighed, another evening of sitting quietly and speaking only when spoken to.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The {} is a part where I think should be either added to the first paragraph or at least to the part before the dialogue. Or given more information such as appearance of the queen.
Also as this is just a segment, some things I left alone such as the last sentence, because I would need to ask for an explanation of the purpose/feeling of the sentence. an example of one thought is that I remove the comma and insert 'to'

Tired

My thoughts weighed down by my mind
Creeping ever slowly across my brain
Troubled chains closing my eyes
My heart pulsing inside my chest stretching throughout my body
My blood circulates through the sea as a jellyfish

*~*~*~*

I'm very tired, maybe cause I did nothing for the hour-and-half Spanish class; we had a sub and the teacher didn't leave any work and I had already finished my hw from my other classes. Then I went home, and two hours later took a breather of laying down on my bed and falling half-asleep. Now I feel I just woke up from a nap, which I hardly ever do.

Friends in Japan

Everyone knows of Japan's three recent earthquakes, the last one a 9.8 and triggered a tsunami and several aftershocks (like hundreds). Also apparently officials have reported that a second tsunami may be on its way. Now, how does this affect me, besides the two feet waves and the eight feet shift towards the U.S.?

I have two friends in live in the region of Sendai, Japan - where it hit.

I'm really scarred bexcause we can't contact them, so we just wait for a reply from the email. I do have her cell number, but power lines are down over there. I just hope they're okay in Japan's worst diaster since WWII.

Earth, please get settle down.

Japan, please get better. (in the sense of recovering from the earthquakes/tsunami)

In other news, the Hairspray play has been going okay... we had set building earlier today of spraypainting boxes with letters. We apparently got a lot more done than the others yesterday.

Perfection

It's not 'practice makes perfect' but 'perfect practice makes perfect' accoridng to my drama teacher. If you keep messing up, it becomes a bad habit.

Ballerinas must always be perfect, whether with shoes, hair, make up, or art form. It's part of their job.

According to Alyson Shontell's article, 'Ways Your Appearance Affects Your Paycheck' (Feb 21, 2011; 9:07am). The better looking and more fit you are, there is a slight increse in pay.

When writing a paper for whatever reason, you check it and check it and revise it. Close enough to perfection so that its acceptable to publish.

Celebrities are compared to another to determine the sexiest one of the year.

It's easy to shread someone when you think of perfection. It's a lot harder to not in our time.

It's harder to not be so perfect.

It's harder to be nice than mean in some opinions.

Anyway, I accept I'm not perfect at being perfect. Even though I do have moments when I go to that dark place of the mind where you just hate yourself. That's okay, just remember no one's perfect.

Songs

I made my own:

Train said Hey Soul Sister to the Bartender after some advice from T-Pain. Avril Lavigne said What the Hell to P!nk who responded F**kin' Perfect. Lady GaGa said to Just Dance after Ke$ha said We R Who We R. Usher was like OMG. 3OH!3 bragged about My First Kiss which made Far East Movement said theirs was Like A G6. Rihanna said she's not the Only Girl in the world. La Roux whispered to Train to be Bulletproof. Trey Songz and Nikki Minaj tried Bottoms Up to help the pain, but they missed the whole scene after Justin Bieber said he needed Someone to Love. Train left with him when Katy Perry yelled there were California Girls outside.

Celebrities..... 0_0

Yeah, its not the best. But you never can hit the first time... can you? o.O
