Today was the last day before the new semester where we would get new classes. I have four classes as we are on the four by four schedule: Seminar English, Muscial Theatre (Dance), Seminar U.S. History, and Chemistry.
English: Our teacher lets us ask any questions we want which he'll answer though to the best he can. He answers pretty much all of them except for like some very touchy topics, an example is not religion. However this can only be done on the first and the last day we have him; today was the last in case you haven't read the little parapgraph above already. Today he was suppose to give an oral final and we managed to ask him questions for the whole period (about an hour and forty minutes) leaving no room for the final. Success.
Musical Theatre (Dance): We finished watching Step Up 3D and watched part of Chorus Line. I worked on the dream story, got like the third draft of it for the like the first chapter? Not sure how far I'll go in that but I'll try to go far. I also found out my grade on a paper in English that I thought I would get an F but I got a A- which surprised me and he saida ll sorts of compliments which made me really happy
U.S. History: We turned in the extra credit project Music and History, which was fun cause I did the 1970s. HIPPIES! I still had to put it together and do a title page. I also turned in my history book today before school which I was almost late to but I think I made it in time... I hope so :) We then did something I can't remebmer exactly. Then we took the final that he had given us the night before. We didn't have enough copies so we paired up and were allowed to talk with our partner about the answers but quietly which turned into an quiet open-talk test which was awesome. We had to take a district test two days earlier which had questions on all the stuff we went over in breief little presentations over one week; all modern era and what the test was about. We only study the pre-civial era of U.S. Hsitory cause we'll talk about the rest of the U.S. History in IB History. Then we passed out chips and brownies and did stuff. Again I worked on the story.
Lunch: The Special Ed took our spot so we all split somewhere else. I just went to the library with a friend to work on the story. And returned my Chemistry textbook.
Chemistry: We watched a movie, something like _____2100. It was about how the world would be in a couple of years, worst case scernio. It freaked a lot of people out, but I wasn't affected by it. We turned in the WordSearch and she gave us back our graded Notebooks and Bellwork. And I worked more on the story.
After School: I got a ride which was nice. I watched some Ellen (DeGeneres). Then my dad was trying to get me to call my mom who had left ehr phone home. My great-aunt had passed away. Chaos.
Moral: ALWAYS KEEP YOUR CELLPHONE. TRying to get ahold of someone for thrity minutes is stressufl when its a family emergency. I eventually did get ahold of her by going through her contacts and finally having someone from her work pick up their phone; the two were talking when I called.
Does anyone have these kinds of days?
